Do you need 3 hours of CE?

We have three free classes to choose from!

ServiceMaster of Cherry Hill is offering 3 different courses on several different days in the first quarter of 2011.  Each class offers three free credits for continuing education.  We have had excellent reviews with many agents telling us they are the most interesting and most informative they have ever attended.

The Water Mitigation Class Course #: 0310595 will demonstrate how water damages carpet, wood floors and other building materials, also showing how long until damage occurs and what steps can be taken to reduce or minimize the damage.  The result is less damage, lower costs, improved ratios and satisfied customers.

The Mold Remediation Class Course #: 0310596 introduces the science of mold and will explore its potentially harmful effects to building materials and occupants.  Participants will learn how mold grows, how it spreads and what actions should be taken to remove mold in a safe and reasonable manner.  Procedures such as containment, negative air and the proper use of personal protective equipment are also covered.

The Smoke and Odor Mitigation Class Course #: 0310597 explores the chemistry of fire and the effects of smoke on various structural building components and household contents.  Participants will learn what items in a home are at risk and how emergency cleaning can prevent or minimize further damage.  Odor mitigation methods such as ozone and air cleaning are also covered.

The classes are being held in our offices at ServiceMaster Clean of Cherry Hill, 2005 Route 70 E. in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  If you are interested in attending any one of the classes listed below please contact my office at 856-751-1577 or email keving@smcherryhill.com.

ServiceMaster of Cherry Hill helps with the Haiti Relief

Matt Summers Doing some masonry work.

This year Haiti was rocked by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake that was followed by up to 52 after shocks ranging from 4.5 and higher.  This country already having heavy poverty was now faced with even worse conditions.

Houses were demolished, food was scarce, and clean water was becoming rapidly harder to obtain.  Many countries reached out with financial and physical aid sending doctors and builders to the area to help get the people of Haiti back on their feet.

Locally, Matt Summers (a ServiceMaster of Cherry Hill employee) and his church set out to rebuild some houses in Haiti.  The helped to begin building 2 homes completely damaged in the earthquake and finished 3 homes previously started.  With some financial and clothing donations ServiceMaster of Cherry Hill was able to give back as well.
